Manager, Procurement
Job Description/Responsibilities:
- Ensure purchasing according to BPGIP and SPA including other donor agencies recommendation,
- ensuring compliance issues as well as maintaining on time delivery to BRAC Programs, Enterprises
- and other affiliated subsidiaries. Look after all import / export activities of the organization, deal C&F,
- Bank and Customs. Assisting the team colleagues in performing their responsibilities with thorough
- compliance. Supporting the direct & indirect supervisors in achieving the organizational goals.
- Performing 100% procurement issues in compliance with BPGIP. Ensuring maximum
- satisfaction of the stakeholders by providing the right products to the right customers at the
- right time at right place in the right condition in right quantity at right cost. Crafting procurement
- annual planning
- Ensuring issuance of 85% RFQ within 15 days for OTM, 7 days for LTM and QM
- Ensuring 80% payment against purchase orders within 11 days after receiving the bills & Challans.
- Ensuring receiving of goods in 90% cases as per deadline and specification given by the Enterprises/ Programs.
- Maintaining a close relation with concerns programs, enterprises, accounts department and other internal & external stakeholders in order to ensuring smooth operation at lowest possible cost.
- Conducting regular sourcing for better supply market exploration and reducing the inventory level by ensuring the lead time properly.
- Ensuring payment of Local suppliers (in applicable cases) by procurement department.
- Taking prompt actions for emergency purchase in emergency case and big purchase for special occasion.
- Preserving & presenting of 100% files for domestic and donors audit trial requirements.
- Scrutinizing, approving and recommending the purchase documents of team members as per the financial authority of HRPP.
- Arranging yearly internal stakeholders and external stakeholders meeting (Partners' Forum) to minimize the procurement related issues. Also arranged one yearly meeting with several departments/enterprise both head office and field level staff.
- Perform Cluster Procurement Manager (CPM) responsibilities for Programs and Enterprises.
- Assist procurement department to meet up the transformation of BRAC to social enterprise model from predominant business model.
- Sourcing of new potential vendors
- Any other jobs assigned by the Supervisor

| | Requirements | |
Educational Requirements:
- BBA/MBA/ Equivalent with minimum second class/ division or equivalent GPA / CGPA
- in all academic examinations
Experience Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of Procurement / Supply chain Management experience in the areas of
Age Range: Maximum 40 years |
