Job Position: Senior Designer

Job Context

Bangladesh Export Import Company Limited, a concern of the largest groups of companies in Bangladesh having state of the art of the art of combined spinning, textiles and world class garments manufacturing facilities supplying wide range of world class readymade garments for internationally reputed buyers in the U.S.A/ Europe etc. is looking for experienced, dynamic and highly potential and versatile professionals for the following position.

Job Description / Responsibility

• Handling the design and product development jobs for world-class fashion products with high knowledge of European & US/Canada Markets.
• Ensure the timely and successful design and development of products in line with the customers’ requirements.
• Plan and carry out design and development functions in a way that ensures solid profitability and helps increase Company’s market share as well as value.
• Researching latest fashion directions & trends in the market and competitor activities
• Coordinate with key personnel involved in production of knit/woven fabric, drawing and cutting patterns and constructing samples for finished garments
• Assembling seasonal forecasts and creating designs to feed the demand
• Identify target markets for designs, looking at factors such as age, gender and socioeconomic status
• Review fashion magazines and manuals in order to gather information about fashion trends.

Educational Requirements

• Post Graduate Diploma (PGD), HSC
• Educational Qualification may be relaxed in case of candidate with extraordinary ability and experience.
