Job Description / Responsibility

• Monitoring the jobs received in their respective group.
• Monitoring the testing of the laboratory technician's in their group.
• Giving required information about the progress of jobs to internal coordinator.
• Verifying the results.
• Checking worksheet for correct test methods before verifying them.
• Bringing to the notice of the immediate superior any discrepancy in test material, method or equipment.
• • Maintaining all stock record & notice to the immediate superior if any need to purchase.
• • If any test methods are deviated bring it to the notice of the immediate superior for validation.
• • Prepares plan for Lab as per priority basis and monitors his team to implement
• • Leads team members to monitor lab dip matching, all types of test and washing effects
• • Selects dyes (recipe) and process to meet the required color
• • Ensures lab dip shade matches with buyer's actual swatch
• • Takes most of the decisions such as different types of tests (pilling, rubbing, perspiration, color fastness) to achieve buyer requirements
• • Tracks color in different order & ensures information is correctly documented
• • Maintains liaison with merchandising department for new shade development or lab dip
• • Leads in fabric development process & monitors the responsibilities of subordinates throughout the process
• • Ensure on time submission & on time approval (counter, PP etc) to maintain the bulk order smoothly
• • Prepares dyes & chemical inventory and makes planning in order to avoid shortage of dyes & chemicals
• • Able to work with Inspection Fabric Machine, Discoloration Meter, Aging Oven, AATCC Light Box, Light Box Veriwide, ISO Light Box X-Rite, Washer Electrolux, Durometer Asker etc.
• • Maintain Quality requirement & Standard for products according to buyers.
• • In case of any shortfall of human resource has to be brought to the notice to the immediate superiors.
• • Exhaustion of consumables always has to be intimated in very well advance to the immediate superior.

• Masters in Engineering (MEngg) in Textile Engineering or Chemistry
• Graduation/ Post Graduation in Textile Engineering
